Setting up iCloud/Apple ID

To backup iOS devices (iPads and iPhones) and download App Store apps users can create or use personal Apple IDs with iCloud.

Create Apple ID:

On the web
- Navigate to appleid.apple.com
- Select Create your Apple ID.
- Fill out the form with either a personal email or your school email.
- Confirm the account with the email account you used. Navigate to your email account and follow instructions in the email you received from Apple.
- Your Apple ID is now ready to use on your iPhone/iPad.
On your device
- Navigate to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
- Select Create a new Apple ID.
- Follow prompts on the screen. (You can use your district email or personal email)
- Navigate to your email and confirm Apple ID account.
- Your Apple ID is now ready to use on your iPhone/iPad.

Sign into your device.

- Navigate to Settings on your device.
For the App Store
- Navigate to iTunes & App Store in Settings.
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
For the iCloud
- Navigate to iCloud in Settings.
- Sign into iCloud with your Apple ID.
- Follow prompts to allow your Apple ID to be used with iCloud.
